Grand Canyon National Park will implement additional water restrictions at the South Rim starting 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, due to ongoing mechanical problems at Havasupai Gardens.

While crews have repaired the broken section of the Transcanyon Waterline, pumping to the South Rim has not yet resumed. Until storage tanks reach sustainable levels, park officials are enforcing heightened conservation measures.
