WCIRWA And DMU Have Lifted Water Watch Status And Restrictions

West Central Iowa Rural Water Association (WCIRWA) and Denison Municipal Utilities (DMU) has lifted the Water Watch restrictions that were implemented last March to conserve water over the summer months. With the area receiving more than adequate rainfall over the past few months and DMU's static and pumping levels improving enough to ensure enough water for customers, the water watch has been lifted effective immediately. WCIRWA and DMU wishes to thank all the customers for their compliance and cooperation with the restrictions to build back up the supply and making sure enough water was available during the spring and summer months.
